If you are following fad diets, and hope to lose weight with their help, you may be in for an unpleasant surprise. Why do you think “fad diets” are called fad diets? They are just fads that people tend to follow from time to time. More often than not, these types of diets don’t work the way they claim to. Also, fad diets can be dangerous.
For one, they often tend to put many more restrictions on your food intake than a regular diet program ever would. You see, fad diets often help you lose weight fast by making you dehydrated and weak. So, the weight that you lose using fad diets is your water weight and muscle mass, both of which are essential for the proper functioning of your body. What you probably really need to do is to burn fat, but most fad diets are not able to do that.
That is why it may be best for you to get rid of fad diets and choose a diet plan that you are committed to for the long haul as well as a diet that has minimal food restrictions. Of course, almost all diet programs have their own sets of food restrictions. However you also need to remember that if you really want to lose weight, you can no longer afford to eat all those delicious, junk and calorie-rich foods that you used to munch on.
Don’t Change From One Fad Diet to Another
Look, if you really wish to lead a healthier life then you need to choose healthier foods, and this is what a good diet plan can help you to achieve. At first any diet program might seem to be ‘too difficult to follow’ because of its ‘restrictions’, but soon you will realize that all those restrictions are in place for the betterment of your health.
You’re going to be very disappointed in the long term results if you are trying to lose weight too fast. You’ll soon start to see the side effects of such quick fad diets and you won’t like them. The reason you won’t like them is that your metabolism is affected and the weight that you did lose initially comes back with a vengeance. Be realistic and lose weight sensibly and you’ll be much happier and thinner.

The reason I decided to partake in the invitation for Great Taste, No Pain is because I have a lot of combustion (rumbling, bloating and gas) going on in my stomach all the time, even when I eat healthy things. I am always hungry, so I eat until I am overstuffed. I was amazed on my 1st day, how the combustion was almost completely gone.
